McGuire Engineers has provided engineering services for the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for several buildings within the Columbia College Chicago campus.
The New Student Center at Columbia College in Chicago is a 114,000 square foot new building located in Chicago which is the new core experience center for the Columbia College community. The building houses a theater, kitchens and dining space, a fitness center and offices. McGuire coordinated all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire protection for this new building with a multidisciplinary team including an architect, structural engineer, and a sound consultant for the theater.
McGuire Engineers has also provided MEP engineering and construction services of approximately $10M for the theater renovation, new boilers and base building HVAC infrastructure for 72 E. 11th Street.

The project consists of the renovation and repositioning of the Macy’s building (formerly Dayton’s building) located at 700 Nicollet Mall Minneapolis, Minnesota.
