ENGINEERING HIGHLIGHTS
McGuire Engineers was retained to conduct reviews of all MEP and energy design and construction of the new Theory and Computing Science building. The building is seven (7) stories tall and features office spaces, laboratories, machine rooms and two (2) atriums. Acting as code consultants, McGuire defined the project goals and reviewed all system design drawings, commenting and suggesting improvements or modifications on any respects of the design that could prove problematic or fail to comply with local and national codes. During construction, regular field visits were made to review and approve installation work.

THE DAYTON’S PROJECT
The project consists of the renovation and repositioning of the Macy’s building (formerly Dayton’s building) located at 700 Nicollet Mall Minneapolis, Minnesota.

McGuire Engineers, Inc. was hired by 601W Companies in 2015 and has been responsible for the complete renovation of all MEP/FP and Technology infrastructure for the building.
